This book has multiple uses!
As a speech language pathologist, I have been able to use this book with my students. I can work on speech sounds in learning new words, reading and verbal expression. I love it and the kids love it too. During this time of school closures and virtual learning it’s a wonderful opportunity to give kids an opportunity to just talk. I’m so thankful for this book. Excellent book for children to understand and talk about emotions
I love this book for parents/guardians/teachers to read with their children and discuss emotions. Mitchell’s book has an emotion per page with a picture of a child expressing the emotion, naming the emotion, an emoji of the emotion and an open ended question asking the child when he/she may feel that particular emotion. At the end of the book there are more open ended questions to get adults and children talking about emotions. This book is simple and to the point. It offers prompts for parents/guardians/teachers to talk with children about an emotion. The photographs of the children in this book are expressive and helpful for readers to see the emotion. Great books for school counselors Your books need to be in the schools. Every counselor/social worker working in schools should have the whole set! Such a beautiful project and one that promotes the idea of normalizing the images of our babies. Dr. Kelly Byrd, speech and language pathologist, St. Louis Public Schools on 7/31/2020
Made Me Cry WOW! The “Love me Always” made me cry, soooo beautiful! I also really like the vocabulary, related to emotions, that you introduce in the other title, “How are You Today?” These are well-written and I love the use of photographs!

Emotions book good for counselors and social workers Your book, "How are You Today," addresses so many more emotions that children experience but they are not talked about or discussed as much. This book could be used by the counselor and/or social worker to deal with feelings that children may be having for whatever reason, good or bad, and by the classroom teacher to capture "teachable moments" with students in the class. Love Me Always helps caregivers This would be a good book to help children process the stages of growing up. All children may not be fortunate enough to have parents or caregivers that are able to provide them with the support or the nurturing environment necessary to ensure healthy growth. School staff can use this book as a guide/reference to help these children along. Reviewed by: Debra Naylor Gardner, assistant principal from St. Louis. on 6/17/2013

Heartfelt memories! This photographic celebration appeals to parents and children alike! As I read it the first time (of many), I couldn't help but remember the fondness of my own childhood. I also couldn't help but think of all the wonderful memories that I see being formed in my own children... I only wish that I could take photographs that looked half as good!
